Our Calls service is just as easy as a normal landline, but it's cheaper and there's no line rental to pay. All you have to do is choose your broadband package, then add Calls as an optional extra.
It's just £10/month on top of the cost of your internet, and you'll get unlimited calls to UK landlines and mobiles. Calls will work using your broadband, so you can chat as long as you like, as long as you're connected to the internet.
Phone and broadband packages, especially when bundled, offer not only great value but also enhanced reliability. We focus on providing super-fast, full fibre broadband alongside flexible phone plans that give you exactly what you need without paying for extras you don't.
By offering these deals, we make it easy for you to access affordable, high-quality services that meet your everyday communication needs.
Our Calls service requires electricity to power the phone adapter, and your broadband connection will carry the conversation. Calls will not work in the event of a broadband failure or power cut. You will need another means of making calls, such as a mobile phone, if there is an emergency.
If you have a healthcare or medical alarm, you will need to check with your alarm provider that it will work with your internet connection, because some alarms use a copper wire to function.
Adding Calls to your package is one thing. But you also need to make sure you're getting the broadband speeds you and your household needs. Here's how we compare against the national average, based on Ofcom's UK Home Broadband Performance report:
Our fast fibre broadband speeds | Time taken to download a file of 750 MB | Times faster than the UK average download speed | Times faster than the UK average upload speed |
---|---|---|---|
100 Mbps | 60 seconds | 1.4x | 5x |
300 Mbps | 20 seconds | 4x | 16x |
1 Gbps | 6 seconds | 14x | 54x |
2.5 Gbps | 2 seconds | 36x | 136x |
5 Gbps | 1 second | 72x | 272x |

Our Calls service uses Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology. Essentially, it means you use our full fibre broadband network to make and receive calls. To do this, we provide you with an adapter that converts phone signals into ones that your internet router can understand. And it means not having to use or pay for a traditional landline based on an old copper network.
No, if your broadband connection drops out or you have a power cut, your phone will not work. Our network is up and running over 99.9% of the time, so this will almost never be a problem, but you should have another means of making a call – such as a mobile – in the case of emergencies.
No, you do not have to pay any line rental or set-up fees. Our broadband and phone deals run on our 100% full fibre network, so there is no landline for you to worry about. Installation is free and a router and adapter is included. You simply have to pay your monthly broadband fee, plus the £10/month for Calls.
Yes, absolutely. You'll have to let us know what your number is and who your current provider is. But please do not cancel with them straight away. It will take at least 12 working days from the date of installation for us to port your number across. During that period, we'll give you a temporary number and you should only cancel with your old provider once we tell you that your number has been successfully ported.
No, you can use your existing handset when you switch to one of our phone and broadband packages. If you don't already have a handset then you'll need to buy one.

Our Calls service comes with an app, which means you can make free calls to UK mobiles and landlines when you're abroad and connected to WiFi.
You'll get all the main features you might need, including voicemail, caller ID presentation, call forwarding and call barring.
You'll pay for your package via direct debit, and even though Calls is an add-on you'll make one payment rather than two separate ones.
